.... And so it begins.

Just after 11am, the screeching wheels of ms. Katy's spy-mobile comes to a halt and I'm loading up my bags for an adventure.... To NYC and beyond.

My estimation and the greyhound schedule suggests this trip to be about 22 hours.  I'll have a few layovers, but ultimately, the $126 ticket will be well worth it, with petrol prices the way that they are and the current non-roadtrip status that my car is in.... She likes in town adventures.

And so now I sit and wait.  My bus is about an hour away from leaving, but already, this experience far exceeds the bullshit that is norm for air travel these days.

As with every other experience of late, I feel like I have stepped back in time where things were simpler... There was no TSA searching your every posession, running you through metal detector machines and basically, its quiet here at the station.   There is no incessant noise and recorded messages blaring over the loudspeakers.... Demanding your attention.  Its clean, cool and the lady at the ticket counter was so nice and letting me know that I had to carry my bags to the bus and make sure to get them at every stop.    At least if my luggage is to get lost, its my fault, right?!!

I love this life that has found me.   Thank you to everyone that has ever afforded a kind word to me.

Kri, thanks for breakfast and snax!!!

Katy, thanks for the ride.   As with everything else, too perfect.   Grateful.

Head, thanks for the java this morning.   I love you all.

Peace for now....
Pella
